Veteran bowler bags SBC Class A crown

VETERAN Em-Em Francisco pocketed the Sunday Bowlers Club class A title in the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) Weekly Tournament at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Sunday night.

Francisco struck for a total of 265 pinfalls to edge runner-up Vic Pusod, who rolled 262 pins.

The third place went to Lalio Elumbaring who garnered 235 pinfalls.

Lito Balansag, Robert Dizon, and Naty Amorillo also shared the limelight in the competition.

Balansag topped class B after hitting 261 pins, besting Peter Abitona (233) and Senen Maligang (215).

Dizon took the class C crown with 196 while Riel Torillos placed second with 189 and Cesar Rentuma was third with 177.

Amorillo, on her part, scored 198 to grab the ladies plum.

The champions will advance to the Bowler of the Month event that will also stake cash prizes and trophies. (MLSA)
