Exec not bothered by revamp rumors
DAVAO City Councilor and Majority Floorleader Emmanuel D. Galicia scoffed at rumors about another looming revamp in the City Council, saying he would really hand over the majority floorleadership to anyone who wants it.
"I have no interest in that position but since they gave it to me, then I accepted it," he stressed.
"If they want to get it from me, that's okay. I also want to rest for a while," added Galicia.
He said every one in the council is capable of being the majority floorleader.
Rumors are again spreading that some councilors are clamoring for another revamp, especially of juicy positions in the City Council.
The last revamp was accompanied by much hullabaloo about corruption especially among those who have a say in the release of development permits to subdivision developers. (BRQ)
