The suspect is a member of the Civilian Auxiliary Force Geographical Unit under the 72nd Infantry Battalion based in Sibulan.

The suspect was observed to be "acting strangely" the past days.

Clamania reportedly approached a barangay official claiming that somebody is out to kill him.

The barangay was celebrating the "Araw ng Purok 10" in itio Mamaon when Clamania threw the grenade at 11:30 noon Tuesday.

Six persons including two minors were injured. They were identified as Feljon Ambe, 22, Ogen Otay, 17, Romy Aguan, 45, Grace Lamanda, 13, Elizabeth Masicampo, 38, and daughter Angelie, 11, all residents in the area.

Angelie is in serious condition due to the wounds she sustained in her ribs. She was still undergoing operation as of Wednesday.

Corporal Pascua of the 72nd IB admitted noticing Clamania's strange behavior the past days.

He said Clamania was asked not to go on duty because he seemed not to be himself and did not eat for three days.

Clamania was also injured by the blast. He is now under the custody of the police after he was given first aid treatment at the Malate Medical Clinic in Toril.
