Grenade explodes at village chief's house

A GRENADE exploded at the house of the barangay captain of Boliok Pagalungan, Maguindanao, Monday night.

Kabacan police reports showed that at around 8:15 p.m., two unidentified armed men onboard a motorcycle lobbed two grenades at the gate of barangay chief Mohammad Pindatun's house along Bonifacio Avenue, Kabacan, North Cotabato.

The explosion caused damage on the house of Pindatun though no one was reported injured.

Police eye revenge due to family feud as the motive behind the incident.

The police are still conducting a follow up investigation of the incident to arrest the suspects. (GOA/GT)
