MONKAYO Mayor Manuel Brillantes Jr. has ordered the evacuation of some areas in the gold rush mountain of Diwalwal after authorities tagged it is as among the top landslide prone areas in Northern Mindanao region.

In an interview Tuesday, Brillantes said he already ordered the Municipal Disaster Coordinating Council to identify the specific areas in Diwalwal that are at the highest risk for a landslide.
