THE cost of doing business in Davao City is very much cheaper, according to Vice Mayor Luis Bonguyan in a speech before businessmen-golfers recently.

He said this is one of the reasons why the renowned Asian Institute of Management and the United States Assistance International Development has acknowledged the city for as one of most competitive cities in the country.

Bonguyan spoke before some 1,000 golfers and businessmen attending the awarding ceremonies of the 20th PAL Interclub Seniors Division at the Venue.

The vice-mayor also encouraged the businessmen to invest in Davao City and avail of both fiscal and non-fiscal incentives already in place.

He said Davao City has also other advantages for businessmen being the most accessible by land and air transportation and the availability of skilled human resources.
