Bravorm leads mayor's cup bowlfest
THE Bravorm Engineering struck for a total of 1,129 pinfalls after two games to lead scoring at the start of the 3rd Mayor Rody Duterte Cup Bowling Tournament at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Thursday night.
Team Polyprod Industrial rolled 1,182 for the second spot while D' Victors B came third with 1,143.
The JR-E Bowlers, hitting 1,138 pinfalls, was in close fourth followed by Wildcard B'lers (1,132) in fifth, Adeding's Meat Shop (1,124) sixth, Ayang's Catering (1,116) seventh, MVO Digital (1,092) eighth, PJAC Bowlers (1,083) ninth and D' Victors A (1,082) 10th.
Trailing behind were City Government/Dachea (1,064), JL Bowlers (1,048), Fedco Bowlers (999), Kaibigan Bowlers (994), Vincent Bowlers (975) and Luzviminda B'lers (910).
City Legal Officer Melchor Quitain, who represented Mayor Duterte, gave an inspirational message during the opening rites.
The next two games of the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC)-organized meet will be played on Tuesday.
The tournament stakes P30,000 in cash prizes. (MLSA)
