Taekwondo sparring up today
THE 7th Beefit Taekwondo Center Sparring League kicks off Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Garden Oases Resort and Restaurant.
Tournament manager Jun-Jun Te said the one-day competition, which will end at 5 p.m., expects some 80 local jins.
Entries will come from the Beefit Taekwondo Center, JT Taekwondo & Fitness Center, Pingoy Taekwondo Center, Golden Shield Taekwondo Center, Mati Taekwondo Center, Sta. Ana Taekwondo Center and AMA Computer College Taekwondo Center.
Must-see players include Marvin Te and Jason Ngo, of Beefit along with Ronald Bisquerra of JT TKD & Fitness Center.
The monthly tournament is being organized as part of the Davao City players' preparations for upcoming regional and national events. (MLSA)
