Trinidad rules tenpin tourney
PJ TRINIDAD captured the Bowler of the Week and Bowler of the Month titles in the Metro Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association, Inc. tournament at the B3 Center, NCCC Mall Friday night.
Trinidad grabbed P3,000 and a trophy for topping the monthly event and then took the P1,000 purse in the weekly competition.
Veteran lady bowler Che-Che Calida, who was fourth in the weekly event, took the runner-up honors in the montly contest while Joseph Gabut and Jeff Gancio placed third and fourth, respectively.
Calida got P2,000 while Gabut had P1,000 and Gancio took home P600.
Gabut won the February Bowler of the Month crown.
In the weekly tournament, Ver Avelino was second while Joe Lam placed third.
Tournament director Paul Rabe, who was February Bowler of the Month, said they are also conducting a youth tournament for 12 years old and below every Saturday at 3 p.m. (MLSA)
