Davao grabbed the top four spots in the women's event and the first three spots in the men's class in the 28th edition of the bowlfest held in Koronadal, South Cotabato last year.

The Davao City Bowlers Association (Daciba) and Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) officials are exhausting efforts to prepare their teams to the annual bowlfest.

Daciba and SBC are eyeing for a sweep in all top four spots in two categories.

SBC president Emie Orteza said the Davao City delegation will be composed of seven men's and five women's teams.

Iligan, Koronadal, and Bacolod teams are expected to challenge Dabawenyos for the cash prizes and trophies at stake. (MLSA)
