'Majika's' main characters grow up
AFTER a long wait and a growing clamor from viewers and fans, Angel Locsin and Dennis Trillo will finally be seen as Sabina and Argo in the GMA-7 telefantasya Majika.
Starting on April 17, Majika unleashes the real magical adventure as the grown up Sabina and Argo further hone their powers and prove their worth as true Salamangkas in the fascinating world of Saladin.
For nearly a month, the young Sabina (played by child actress Ella Cruz) endeared herself to viewers with her kindheartedness and her earnest desire to reunite with her parents and siblings, who were all abducted by the Umbras from the mortal world and taken to Saladin.
Left alone to fend for herself in the only world she had known all her life, the young Sabina learned to accept the fact that she is no ordinary mortal, that she is in fact a Salamangka with special powers and that there exists a magical world called Saladin where she must go to find her missing family.
With the help of a fellow Salamangka living in the mortal world, Eloida (Jean Garcia), the young Sabina finally set foot in Saladin, where she met a young boy named Argo who, aside from befriending her, was obviously attracted to her.
And now that Sabina and Argo have grown up, not only will the fans of Angel and Dennis be thrilled by their regular presence in the primetime telefantasya, viewers will also find themselves more mesmerized with Majika's magical adventures as well as with Sabina and Argo's captivating love story.
Majika airs weeknights after Extra Challenge on GMA-7.
