Trial vs water firm over 30% rate hike pushed
Various species of Philippine birds, already in the verge of extinction, are being sold in city streets and sidewalks. These birds usually come from barangays in the provinces where thriving forests still exist. (Sun.Star Davao/Rene B. Lumawag)
MILITANT group Bayan Muna lauded the court's decision to conduct a full-blown trial to hear its petition for declaratory relief against the Davao City Water District's (DCWD) imposition of a 30 percent water rate increase.

The court is set to hear the petition on May 19.

Congratulations to the graduates of 2006! Post your graduation experiences and greetings here.
