Davao's Barte enters finals
DAVAO City netter Ralph Kevin Barte gained a finals berth after routing Keff Gamana, 6-0, 6-1, in the Toby's Tennis Tournament in Manila Saturday.
The former Palarong Pambansa gold medalist said he will play a still undetermined opponent in the boys 18-under championship match Sunday.
Barte, who played for the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) during his elementary years, also won golds for Davao in the Philippine National Youth "Batang Pinoy" Championships.
He had competed in international junior tournaments with decent finishes. (MLSA)
