Doctor accused of kissing student
A 17-year-old nursing student of a university in Davao City accused a doctor of trying to kiss her on the lips after giving her a ride home on Monday night.
Dindin (not her real name) reported to the San Pedro Police her ordeal in the hands of a doctor of the Davao Medical Center.
San Pedro police desk officer John Mark Castro said the doctor is from Bo. Obrero, Davao City.
Castro, however, refused to give further details saying the student reported the incident to them for record purposes only.
Based on Dindin's complaint, she borrowed P3,000 from the doctor. After handing her the money, the doctor offered to give her a ride to her boarding house along Mt. Apo Street, this city.
"She was brought to her boarding house at Mt. Apo and then told, 'Had you been my girlfriend I will really help you' before the doctor tried to kiss her. She resisted," Castro said.
The complainant said the doctor threatened her when she resisted his advances.
"A text message sent to her said I will report you to your dean," Castro said.
Police said the victim has yet to file a formal complaint against the doctor. (RCO)
