2 tabloids apologize for Burlesk King issue

TWO tabloids of national circulation finally issued a public apology to House Majority Leader Prospero Nograles for their Burlesk King stories a few years back.

Abante and Abante Tonite reportedly published the public apology in their May 17 issue.

In a telephone interview Wednesday, Nograles said he is now discussing his next move with his lawyers.

He did not say if he will keep on with the libel case against the tabloid or drop it now that a public apology was made.

"I shall discuss with my lawyers the next legal move in the libel cases now pending in court. We shall study the matter carefully," Nograles said. (BOT)
