By Ben O. Tesiorna

THE scion of the Sinsuat family in Cotabato City and two of his friends who figured in a bar brawl and a chase inside the Davao Medical Center near-dawn Sunday will be facing criminal charges as soon as police processes all documents needed to file the charges.

Sta. Ana police chief Leonardo Felonia said they will file serious physical injury, malicious mischief and frustrated homicide charges against Mojar Sinsuat, Jay Usman and Lovell Fernandez.

Complainants would be Reynante Palmes and Joey Esguerra.

Esguerra was mauled by the respondents at the Autoshop Bar in Bajada while Palmes' car was smashed by Sinsuat's group at the Davao Medical Center a few hours later when Palmes brought Esguerra there for treatment.

"Sa Sta. Ana Police on the Autoshop incident, physical injury ang i-file namin. Sa DMC incident naman, which is under the Buhangin police mag-file kami ng malicious mischief plus frustrated homicide kasi hinabol pa nila ang victim sa loob ng DMC. Depende sa Buhangin police kung okay sila pati na ang fiscal," Felonia said.

He added that Sinsuat's other companions involved in the DMC incident may also be charged.

Sinsuat was with seven other friends when they attacked the victims at the DMC, broke all the windshields of Palmes car and chased Esguerra upto the second floor of DMC causing fear among the confined patients.

The charges are to be filed anytime soon.
