Cotabato businessmen assure no price hikes

COTABATO CITY -- With the opening of classes this June, department and grocery store owners in Cotabato City expect more customers in this time of the year.

According to the observation of Oscar Tan Abing, president of Cotabato City Grocers Association, there is a significant rise on the number of customers these days.

Abing assured the public that there will be no price hikes on school supplies, uniforms and foods despite the increase in oil price.

"We have no increase on prices because we have enough supplies, stable peso and good investment climate in the city," Tan Abing added.
