Kids do it!
VACATION'S over but not for the 20 finalists for NCCC's Kid's Club who will vie for the grand prize tomorrow at 4 p.m., Activity Center, NCCC Mall Davao.
The kids were screened on April 23 from over 86 applications from Davao and Tagum City for their wit and charisma, talent, personality, appearance and overall impact.
Twenty kids were picked and these are: Joie Marie Alexie Cena, Angelica Almaden, Xy-za Arcena, Gabrielle Coleen Sombilon, Erica Pangilan, Pauline Escueta, Alianna Mae Amilasan, Jenyfaith Sahisahid, Eunice Evan Dominguez, Carl Heaven Cañete, Archimedes Udaundo, Rejun Pang, Benedict Zapanta, Aethan Lance Aballe, Joej Vicent Deonne Nisnisan, James Oliver Labor, Humprey Comanda, John Edward Labot, Justine Louise Carcedo and Karldave Zhann Darjani.
To keep the kid's busy, and to prepare them for the big day on Saturday, they were given workshops on personality development, dancing, modeling and singing, with a tree planting activity at Daliaon. Toril on May 13.
Two winners, one boy and one girl, will be named during the Grand Finals each winning P10,000 in cash and in gift certificates.
First runners-up win P7,500 in cash and gift certificates while second runners-up place gets P5,000 also in cash and gift certificates.
Plaques, sashes, and gift packs will be awarded in addition to special awards for Best in Costume, Photogenic Award, Most Eloquent, and Best in Talent. Lucky tykes winning special awards will receive 1,000 pesos in gift certificates.
Eagerly awaited, the Voter's Choice special award, where shoppers get a chance to vote for their favorite kid model, was held from April 27 to May 25. Kid winners for this special award also extends his or her good fortune to the school where he or she is enrolled in the amount of P5,000.
The NCCC Kid's Club Search is presented by NCCC Department Store together with NCCC Mall Davao, Breadfactory, Munccchies, Makiboy, Foodcove, B3 Restobar, NCCC Supermarket, Toes, Garfield and Odie, Grizzly, Shoebizzy and Shoebeedo, Kindercare Worldwide, ARJ Printing Press and Lito Sy Photo Studio.
