Briton robbed, killed
A 78-year-old British national was killed while his wife was unharmed when two of their neighbors robbed them early morning of Saturday.
The victim was identified as Derick Keith Whitehouse, resident of Samantha Homes in Sta. Filomena, Catalunan Grande, Davao City.
Whitehouse was stabbed dead by the suspects when he tried to put up a fight.
Mae, Whitehouse's 47-year-old wife, was not harmed.
Talomo police chief Matthew Baccay identified one of the suspects as Jonathan Dinglasa.
The Whitehouses are building a big house in the said subdivision.
Baccay said the suspects were assuming that the victims were keeping huge cash inside their house.
Dinglasa is now under the police custody while the other suspect remains at large.
Charges of robbery with homicide will be filed against the suspects.
Baccay ruled out any "foul play" in the incident saying the suspects acted out on their own. (BOT)
