Cop in sex video transfers to Crame
CONTROVERSIAL police officer Rolando Vilela was unceremoniously transferred to Camp Crame after going on absence without leave (Awol) at his post in the Police Regional Office (PRO) Southern Mindanao.
PRO public information officer Belflor Causing said they received Vilela's transfer order from Camp Crame just last week.
Senior Inspector Vilela had gone on Awol since June 4. For this he was place under investigation by the PRO.
In the order received by PRO from Camp Crame it was learned though that Vilela's transfer to Camp Crame was effective since May 24.
Causing said they had already stopped their investigation on Vilela with regards to his being on Awol.
Investigation on the grave misconduct and illegal discharge of firearm against Vilela is however ongoing with the controversial cop set to appear before the investigating body on June 14.
Asked of the reason and effect of Vilela's sudden transfer to Camp Crame, Causing said the transfer was upon the personal request of Vilela himself.
Causing admitted that Vilela's transfer is somehow a relief to the PRO since they will finally be given a breather from the controversy hounding the latter. (BOT)
