French booters here
DAVAO City booters will play an exhibition match against French visitors at 8 a.m. Saturday Tionko field.
Scientists, technicians and crew members compose the Marion Dufresne French research vessel non-professional football team.
The visiting squad is led by Capt. J.P. Hedrich.
Playing against Hedrich's team is a crack selection consisting of the University of Mindanao (UM) varsity mainstys and players from other ball clubs.
The vessel is operated by IPEV (French Polar Institute).
Davao Football Association (DFA) vice-president Francisco "Iko" Villano is facilitating the goodwill match that is free for public viewing. (MLSA)
