The induction of new members of the IBP will be held at the Davao Convention Center on F. Torres St., Davao City as the IBP and ACCLA will conduct a mandatory continuing legal education (MCLE) seminar for all lawyers and legal practitioners starting on July 19.

Meanwhile, lawyer Cesar Europa, Davao Chapter IBP president, said the numbers of new members to be inducted will depend on how many new lawyers will register in the seminar.

The subjects to be discussed at the seminar are oral advocacy, alternative dispute resolution, trial and pre-trial skills, legal ethics, other MCLE prescribed subjects including problems in secured transactions and juvenile justice and welfare act.

Updates in procedural law including the jurisdiction procedures in the Court of Appeals and updates in constitutional law and jurisprudence will also be tackled in the seminar.

The seminar has a registration fee of P3,000. It is sponsored by the IBP and ACCLA in cooperation with the Davao Lady Lawyers Association Incorporated (Dallas) and the University of Mindanao College of Law Alumni Association.
