Pacquiao gives out cash in GenSan victory party

MANNY Pacquiao, already a multi-millionaire, handed out cash to his adoring fans during a victory party hosted in his honor Thursday night by General Santos City Mayor Padro Acharon Jr.

Bills of P1,000 and P500 were distributed out by the boxer during the night to lucky individuals who can answer questions concerning his life.

It was not clear how much Pacquiao gave but sources said he even offered a cash of P5,000 for the more difficult questions.

The cash giving was staged during a party hosted by Acharon and after the presentation of dance and song numbers by the General Santos City choir and dance troupe.

Earlier that day, Pacquiao was given another hero's welcome by the General Santos Coty folks upon his arrival from Manila.

Pacquiao scored two knockdowns en route to a unanimous decision win over Mexican Oscar Larios last Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

With the win, fashioned out before a roaring hometown crowd, Pacquiao kept his WBC international super featherweight crown.

The Filipino boxer is slated to face Erik Morales next on Nov. 18 in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao has vowed to train early for this one as he desires to punish the crafty Morales and send him to retirement for good.

Pacquiao has earned a windfall for his fistic encounters with some of the world's best fighters, including Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez and Morales, whom he beat in January.
