Its celebration is highlighted with a Pisayestahan, showcasing the skills and talents of the school's students and teachers.

PSHS president Dr. Rosita Fundador will lead the whole school in commemorating the 18 years of growth, which she herself has been a witness.

"I believe in dreams and miracles. Watching Philippine Science High School grow deepens my conviction that God graciously plants dreams in our hearts and create miracles for us to see these dreams unfold," she said.

Fundador takes pride on the number of successful graduates that have proven themselves in their respective profession after graduating college. She instills excellence in every government scholar as she considers each one as having a vital role in the country's progress.

PSHS is known for its high standard of education catering to the best students in the whole of Mindanao as government scholars. Most of PSHS products, according to Fundador have become the important leaders in the public and private sectors of the country.

"This dream of excellence has motivated me and my committed personnel to create an innovative learning environment designed to nurture selected youth of Mindanao," she said.
