Council can't abolish committee hearings
This satellite terminal in Agdao, Davao City, which was abandoned by bus operators after the strict implementation of Ordinance 110, has been transformed into an "ukay-ukay" market. DAVAO City Councilor Danilo C. Dayanghirang laughed off the suggestion of a city-based developer to abolish committee hearings to hasten the approval of housing permits.

Dayanghirang said the appeal to scrap committee hearings on housing is illegal.
