2 boys charged for selling porno VCDs
TWO young men are facing charges for allegedly selling pornographic VCDs in Bankerohan, Davao City on Monday.
City Prosecutor Shahruddin Roberto O. Sencio Jr. recommended the filing of charges for violating immoral doctrines, obscene publications and exhibitions, against Ryan and Orak (true names withheld for being minors), both 17, and residents of Bankerohan.
PO2 Randy Pingol and PO1 Julius Espejon, of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), executed a joint affidavit, claiming they frisked the suspects near the Bankerohan overpass at around 4:15 p.m. on July 10 while they were conducting an operation against proliferation of pornographic videograms.
Pingol said they confiscated 35 pieces of pornographic videograms and 320 pieces of assorted pirated VCDs from the respondents.
Pingol and Espejon brought Ryan and Orak to the CIDG office for investigation.
A bail of P24,000 each was set for the respondents' temporary liberty. Both are still detained. (JGRS)
