Rosete: Swimmer is a water polo player, too
CODETTE Rosete, the dazzling swimmer from Davao City, is now also into water polo.
Rosete, who once ruled the pool in Davao and Mindanao swimming competitions, is being trained to become a water polo player. She plunges into the pool for swimming practice on weekdays and takes time out to train water polo every Saturday.
Rosete is very active into aquatic sports as she is also a member of the La Salle synchronized swimming team and had in fact performed in a show last June 24 at the Trace College in Los Baños, Laguna during the 1st Philippine Olympics.
A graduating student at the St. Scholastica's College in Manila, Rosete will compete for the Philippines in the 2nd Asian Inter-school swimming competition in Hong Kong set July 25 to August 1.
Another top Davao athlete, diver Shiela Mae Perez, is a good friend of Rosete. (CRAM)
