T'kwondo sparring league kicks off Sunday
THE 6th JT/Pingoy Taekwondo Center Sparring League kicks off Sunday at the Garden Oases Resort and Restaurant.
Davao Taekwondo Center mainstays are among the participants in the one-day event sanctioned by the Philippine Taekwondo Association.
Beefit Taekwondo Center, J.T. Taekwondo and Fitness Center, Pingoy Taekwondo Center, Golden Shield Taekwondo Center, Sta. Ana Taekwondo Center and Maa Taekwondo Center are expected to field entries.
The competition serves as part of the local jins' preparations for upcoming local, regional and national tournaments.
The Dabawenyos are also set to see action in the 1st Mayor Lino O. Montilla National Age-Group Taekwondo Championships slated August 19 and 20 at the Notre Dame of Tacurong College Gymnasium. (MLSA)
