Kadayawan tennisfest
THE Kadayawan Age-Group Tennis Tournament fires off August 19 to 21 at the Ecoland Phase 4 Tennis Club.
This was announced recently by Philippine Tennis Association (Philta) regional vice-president for Mindanao Juanito Cansino Jr.
Cansino said the two-day event will feature the 10-under unisex, boys and girls 12-under, 14-under, 16-under and 18-under categories.
Head Penn Tour champions El Santo Santos and Juan Paolo Cansino will lead the charge for Davao City as veteran age-groupers Andrei and Steffi Dizon are also expected to pull off surprises.
Expected to give the Davao players a run for their money are participants will also come from Digos City, General Santos, Cotabato City, Compostela Valley, Cagayan de Oro and South Cotabato.
