THERE is a continuing increase in the membership of Pag-Ibig Fund Davao and a good number are being added monthly to the rooster of the Fund.

Shiek said total membership, including those inactive, already reached over 500,000 for the Davao area, including Davao branch that caters to Davao City and Davao del Sur.

Other branches of Pag-Ibig Southern Mindanao operations are General Santos City, Cotabato City and Tagum City that caters to the provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley Province.

She said they are continuously conducting information and education campaign to encourage more to join the Fund, adding that they are utilizing all channels to reach out to as many government and private offices within their area of coverage.

Shiek said their advocacy is not only limited to membership campaign but also educating the members of their rights and responsibilities as a Fund member.

"Part of the program is a forum that they will conduct among communities where homeowners are covered by the Fund and the latest will be a forum for the Gulf View residents," she said.

"This is our way of strengthening our link with our borrowers to build our link and make it stronger," she said.

Shiek said that the members will be the center of their services and they will institute all measures and reforms that will benefit both the Fund and the members.

In fact, she said the Davao branch was rated first in performance from among the other branches in Southern Mindanao.

"We have done well with our operations in the provident as well as housing making us the top performer for the first six months this year," she said.

She added that team effort really push each one of them to do better, saying that they are guided by the Fund's vision to carry on their task through excellent services including customer satisfaction, which is also a priority in delivering service to Pag-Ibig members.
