Datba to hold Kadayawan tenpin bowling at NCCC
THE 1st Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association Kadayawan Tenpin Bowling Tournament rolls off August 25-27 at the B3 Bowling Center in NCCC Mall.
A total of 33 teams, including those from Manila, Cebu and Iloilo, have confirmed their participation in the three-day event using the FIQ format.
Dr. Virgilio Magdale of Datba, appearing in Thursday's Davao Sportswriters Association Forum at the Tower Inn, said Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte has been invited to grace the opening ceremonies on August 25.
Host Davao City will field 10 teams in the tournament, with Manila sending in eight teams and Cebu six squads.
The Masters, which is the main event, will have P40,000 as champion's purse. The second placer is assured of P20,000 and third P10,000.
The team winner will get P12,000, second P6,000 and third P4,000.
