Philippine Idol is a franchise-based reality talent show that showcases local outstanding singing talents.

The Idol fever has become a worldwide phenomenon -- American Idol being the most popular series.

The "Idol" judges are Ryan Cayabyab, Pilita Corales and Francis Magalona.

Philippine Idol hopes to give birth to fresh, talented recording artists that will help boost the Filipino music industry.

At the end of this show, the winner will be given more than just a recording contract but will be hailed as the First Philippine Idol.

SuperFerry is the official sea carrier of Philippine Idol contestants. The contestants, many of whom were first time riders, stayed at the cabin accommodation of SuperFerry.

The contestants spent their time on the ship at the souvenir shop, food Court, and sing-along facilities.

The sponsorship is in line with SuperFerry efforts to promote its Mega Tipid Trips sale, a nationwide campaign which gives fare discounts of up to 50 percent.

For more information, please call SuperFerry Hotline (082) 2211390, or send a text message to SuperFerry SMS (0917) 889-2421.
