Tacays rule karatedo event, gives Assumption five golds
REXOR And Shinji Rex Tacay led Assumption College of Davao team in winning the Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte Inter-School karatedo tournament at the NCCC Mall of Davao.
Tournament director Ricardo M. Tacay announced that Assumption collected five golds and one silver to emerge over-all champion.
University of Immaculate Conception placed second with three golds, four silvers and two bronze medals, followed by Lamb of God SPED Learning Center and Mindanao Medical Foundation College with two golds, apiece.
Miyuki Tacay won the two gold medals for SPED. Indonesian School of Davao had one gold and two silvers for the fifth spot.
A total of 26 schools took part in the event organized by the Philippine National Karatedo Association, Inc. headed by president Ricardo M. Tacay and supported by the Davao City Sports Development Division.
