5th Cavaliers Cup tees off Sept. 23

THE 5th Mindanao Cavaliers Cup tees off at the par-71 Lanang Country Club on Sept. 23 with an array of hole-in-one prizes at stake.

Colonel Restitituo Padilla Jr. of the organizing Eagle Fraternal Chapter said around 200 golfers would participate the one-day tournament in.

The fund-raising golf event will benefit PMA graduates and families of those PMAs who died in the line of duty, according to Padilla.

Major prizes will be offered to those who can score aces on holes no. 2, 4, 8, 12 and 17.

For hole No. 2, the organizers are giving away round trip Philippine Airlines (PAL) ticket, and for hole no. 4 a brand new aircon.

A motorcycle is being offered for a hole-in-one on No. 8, brand new color TV for No. 12 and a brand new 9mm. handgun for No. 17.

The tournament, which has a registration of P1,000, will have a double barrel start, one at 6:30 a.m. and the other 11:30 a.m. (CRAM)
