Holy Child worked its way to a masterful 135-38 conquest of Davao Wisdom in the Cadets while its other team pulled off a 108-57 win over SMAD in the Junior Division 1.

Both Holy Child teams remain unbeaten in their divisions in five games thus far.

The 1-2 punch of Nard John Pinto and Kristofer Lacida combined for 39 points for Holy Child in the junior division action. Peter Lorejo and Jumaben Bulac added
14 each.

Pinto, one of the mainstays of the Holy Child team that placed second in the Asian Streetball Challenge just recently, also had 12 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block.

In the Cadets, it was Baser Amer who came up big for Holy Child with 28 points, four rebounds, two assists and four steals. Six others scored in double figures with Martin Delfinado making 18, Malanday 13, Nayve and Mejos 12 each and Villacorta 11.

In another Cadets game, ACD whipped SMAD, 136-67, behind the hot-shooting of Kenneth Flaviano, who fired 52 points. Nicko Geralde backed him up in scoring with 21, while Demavibas chipped in 19.

The win was ACD's sixth in eight games, while SMAD dropped to 1-6.

The Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS), meanwhile, walloped Davao Central, 106-66, in a Junior Division 2 encounter.

Kennythor Abendan led DRANHS with 22 points. Lemmuel Abogadie added 17 and Angelo Lamban 15. It was DRANHS'S fourth win in five games, while the loss was Davao Central's fifth without a victory. (CRAM)
