PMAP holds job fair

THE Davao chapter of the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines will hold a job fair Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hosting the daylong activity is the Holy Cross of Davao College on Sta. Ana Avenue, in coordination with the regional office of the Department of Labor and Employment Region.

Participating companies include: Anflocor, Asia Pro, Del Monte, Davao Newtown, G-Com, Deco Arts, Davao Light, Enterprise Bank, Jollibee, People Support, and URC, to name a few. Job seekers are inviting to join at no cost.

The job fair is a nationwide activity of PMAP as it celebrates 50 years of existence.

PMAP is the premier organization of human resource practitioners in the country, devoted primarily to promoting closer ties and harmony between employees and employers, as well as the development of the human resource potentials in all sector of industry.

PMAP-Davao, being the first provincial chapter, is now in its 37th year of service, and boasts of 140 members, both corporate and individual.

It is currently headed by chapter president Romulo R. Remollo of Anflocor. It holds regular monthly general meetings featuring learning sessions on HR-related topics.
