Legislators avenge loss
THE Legislators beat the Executives, 112-107, to avenge their Game 1 loss in the 2006 Executive-Legislative Basketball Tournament 11th Season at the Almendras Gym.
The Legislators grabbed a slim lead early on the match and never looked back to seal the victory in the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP)-sanctioned meet.
The Legislators' solid defense did the trick even as Executives' key pointmaker Davao City sports coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go was limited to seven points in the fourth quarter.
Aldrin Casado sizzled with 22 markers for the Legislators while Marlon Bredol and City Councilor Diosdado Mahipus added 17 and 11, respectively.
The series tied at 1-1.
