Agro routs AMA, 88-71

THE Agro-Industrial Foundation College (AIFC) Sailors routed AMA, 88-71, in the resumption of the Gaisano South (GS) Cup at the GS Sky Gym Friday night.

Ariel Fortuna sank 27 points and grabbed four rebounds and issued five assists to be named best player of the game in the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP)-sanctioned cagefest.

The Sailors tote a three-win, three-loss record while AMA has 1-5 card to remain at the cellar of the college division 1.

In an earlier game, MATS College of Technology subdued Holy Child School of Davao (HCSD), 79-75, in division 2.

Tommy Collandos led Mats with 19 points and 11 rebounds while teammate Rhandelle Colina made 20 markers.

Mats and HCSD both hold an identical 6-1 card.

Games were still playing as of Saturday. (MLSA)
