Monday, November 20, 2006 Cop linked to drugs only has Monday to reply
ONE of the policemen charged with illegal drugs and obstruction of justice is expected to submit his counter-affidavit to the City Prosecutor's Office Monday.
PO3 Enrique Ayao of the San Pedro Police station under the Davao City Police Office was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002 and obstruction of justice.
Ayao is now restricted at the Davao City Police Office and was given up to Monday to file lest the City Prosecutor's Office will proceed with the preliminary investigation based on the complaint against him.
City Prosecutor Mario Duaves said he gave November 20 as the deadline and he will no longer give additional extension of the filing.
Ayao along with PO2 Arnold Dechavez, who escaped restriction at the Davao City Police Office, were charged along with a government lawyer last month. (RMH)
