Saturday, November 25, 2006 CEB offers connecting routes from Davao starting from P999
CEBU Pacific (CEB), the country's low fare leader and leading domestic carrier, has expanded its domestic coverage further by introducing 17 domestic route connections from Davao.
Last November 22, CEB started offering 17 connecting routes from Davao via Manila and Cebu, with through fares starting from P999 one-way. Fares are exclusive of surcharges and government tax.
"It's always been our vision to make air travel available to more Filipinos. From offering three direct services from Davao, now, with these route connections, we are able offer 17 additional routes and connect more islands from Davao, further serving the needs of the Davaoeno. Once again, we are giving travelers more options and providing a convenient alternative for traveling within the country," Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director, said.
CEB will provide an attractive through fare as part of the connecting product, together with a check-through baggage connection service from the origin station to the end-destination of the guest.
CEB's domestic flight connections will significantly expand its domestic network coverage and will benefit both business and leisure markets.
"CEB is now reaching more people and connecting more islands by air and, more importantly, providing the lowest airfare for these connecting routes. Guests can save as much as 13 percent by availing of our through fares than if they were to buy separate tickets for their flight connection. Many of our guests have been requesting for this enhanced service because they are already taking advantage of our year-round low fares on the direct services and want the same when they travel to other destinations," Iyog added.
CEB will provide connecting flights from Davao to Bacolod, Clark, Iloilo and Zamboanga for P999, to Laoag and Legaspi for P1,099, to Bacolod, Iloilo, Kalibo, Roxas, Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Dumaguete for P1,299, and to Butuan, Cotabato, Cagayan de Oro and Dipolog for P1,499.
Now in its 11th year, CEB has the newest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of less than nine months, and one of the newest in Asia as it operates 12 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and six regional destinations. The airline awaits the delivery of two more Airbus aircraft in early 2007 to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.
