Host Philippine Moo Duk Kwan Soo Bahk Do Central Gym's lightweight Steve Grandeza and bantamweight Jun Liwag will defend their crowns.

Grandeza, however, will also have to keep his grandchampion title only after he emerges champion in his weight class.

The five division champions will clash for the grand championship crown in the full contact tournament. It also features featherweight, middleweight, and heavyweight categories.

The Dabawenyos expect stiff competition against Manila, Cebu, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cotabato, Cavite, Makati, Iligan and Bohol bets, among others.

Medals and trophies will be awarded to the winners of the tournament sponsored by Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte. (MLSA)
