THE Holy Child School of Davao (HCSD) Passerelle team grabbed the runner-up honors after bowing to San Beda College, 63-75, in the just-concluded 2006 Milo Best National Finals in Manila.
Holy Child, coached by Ildefonso Cunanan who was assisted by Tating Sorrosa, beat two teams before arranging a titular clash against San Beda.
Cunanan's squad crushed Baguio City, 95-64, and pulled off a 93-75 victory over Ateneo Iloilo, 93-75. Trophies, medals and certificates were awarded to the winners. (MLSA)
