All set for Elderlympics in city high school

IT'S all set for the Elderlympics, dubbed "Active Ageing," on December 8 to 10 at the Davao City National High School.

Ball games, table tennis, lawn tennis, athletics and other recreational sports are entered in the two-day sportsfest.

A parade followed by a field demonstration will usher the start of the event to be graced by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte as guest speaker.

Councilor Leonardo Avila III will declare the tournament open.

The quiz bowl and social ballroom dancing competition, however, will be held on December 10 at the SM City entertainment plaza starting at noon. The awarding of over-all champion will also be held there. (MLSA)
