HOMICIDE charges have been filed against a man who hacked and killed another inside his house in Isla Verde in Boulevard, Davao City in July this year.
Charged was Bienvenido Indino alias Loloy, 52, resident of Isla Verde in Boulevard.
City Prosecutor Minerva Pepino-Estremos ruled there is probable cause to sue Indino based on the accusation made by the victim's daughter, Jocelyn Bering, 27, resident of barangay 23-C in Quezon Boulevard.
The victim, Isabelo Jimenez, 58, was hacked dead at around 7 p.m. of July 5 while he was playing cards with Indino at the suspect's house.
Neighbors told Bering that the two had a fight when Jimenez tried to intervene in a quarrel between Indino and his wife.
The victim was hacked with a bolo and he died on the spot.
Estremos recommended a bailbond of P40,000 for the suspect's temporary liberty. (RMH),/b>
