The victim was identified as Adzarie Kiram, 42, a resident of Matanog, Shariff Kabunsuan.
Kiram is a member of the MILF panel that is monitoring the ceasefire agreement forged between the rebels and government troopers.
According to information gathered by Sun.Star, the victim was driving his motorcycle at around 4 p.m. in Guindulungan, Maguindanao when he was shot with a handgun by an unidentified killer.
Authorities are still investigating the possible motive for the crime. Among the angle being looked into is family feud. (GF/JAR)
