Bootfest fires off

THE Holcim-Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte Pahalipay sa Pasko Football Tournament will open at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Tionko field.

Ten teams are seeing action in the bootfest co-presented by Holcim Philippines and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

Sun.Star Network Online's 12th Asean Summit Watch

The event is organized by the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office under city sports coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go and officiated by the Davao Football Association (DFA).

Vying for cash prizes and trophies are Ateneo de Davao University, Agro-Industrial Foundation College (AIFC), Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School, Davao Central High School, Crossing Bayabas National High School, Maa NHS, Emar Learning Center, University of Mindanao and Holy Child School of Davao (HCSD) will contest cash prizes and trophies at stake.

The champion team will receive P4,000. (MLSA)
