INTERESTED participants may start signing up for the 15th BKCC-DCSC Active Chess Tournament set on January 20 at the Blue Knight Chess Club along 86-1 Bonifacio St., near Augustine School of Nursing.

Tabudlong said the tournament is a five-round Swiss System format with a time control of 30 minutes for every player.

Trophies and chess magazines are up for grabs for the top three placers in the one-day event supported by the Davao City Sports Council, Inc.

"It is open to beginners, rated and unrated players with a BKCC rating of 1400 and below," Tabudlong said.

Registration fee is only P25 per player. Interested parties may contact BKCC at telephone No. 300-4260. (MLSA)
