Nuñez said the two-day competition will have Department of Education (DepEd) employees as participants.
The event offers cash prizes to the winners in men's and women's singles events.
The champions will each receive P1,000 while the runner-up will get P600.
"The players will play round robin in each bracket. The top two players in each bracket will advance to the quarter-finals where the winners will enter the semi-finals enroute to the championship round," Nuñez said.
The meet is sanctioned by the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (Tatap) Region 11 also headed by its director Councilor Laviña. (MLSA)
