DSA Forum today

THE first Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum for 2007 is set at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Tower Inn.

University of Mindanao (UM) Wildcats headcoach lawyer Manny Nitorreda, Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (Tatap) regional director and Davao City councilor Peter Laviña, Blue Knight Chess Club's Ronnie Tabudlong and Prisaa Davao athletic manager Joaquin "Boy" Sarabia will grace the DSA's opening salvo for the year.

Nitorreda will brief DSA members on the Nike Basketball Camp in Davao while Laviña will tackle the table tennis tournament he is sponsoring for the Department of Education (DepEd) employees set this weekend at the S.I.R. Elementary School.

Tabudlong will talk about the January edition of the monthly Davao City Sports Council Inc. (DCSCI)-BKCC chess tournament.

Sarabia, on his part, will discuss the citywide eliminations of the Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa) and the pre-opening basketball and volleyball games. (MLSA)
