THE Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) activities this month, including weekly tournaments, were put on hold pending on the induction of its set of officers for 2007.
Re-elected president Emie Orteza, who is set to serve his third term this year, bared this in text messages to Sun.Star Davao Monday.
"We are still waiting for the availability of PSC (Philippine Sports Commission) chairman William "Butch" Ramirez because we have chosen him as our inducting officer and guest speaker," Orteza said.
He said they're now wrapping up preparations for the oath-taking ceremonies. SBC bowlers, however, are expected to compete in the Fedbop National Open Championships to be held in Davao City this summer.(MLSA)
